Gabrielle Barber Featured in the Calgary Herald

UCalgary MA candidate and Energy Stories Lab associate Gabby Barber was recently interviewed and featured in the Calgary Herald!

Gabby spoke about her experience making social media videos on Instagram and TikTok explaining the October 12th Alberta referendum questions — specifically, the questions and concerns Albertans share with her surrounding the ambiguity of the separation question (question 10) and voter turnout. These educational videos on the separatist movement align with Gabby’s research focus on grassroots conservative movements in Alberta, and complement her experience attending various separatist events over the summer.
