Congratulations to Gabby Barber for receiving a Canada Graduate Research Scholarship-Master’s!

Master’s candidate Gabrielle Barber was recently awarded a Canada Graduate Research Scholarship-Master’s from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC)

The funding will go towards her research on conservative grassroots movements in Alberta, including the current wave of separatism that is driving most of the engagement around the province’s October 19th referendum.

An aspect of Gabby’s research includes creating educational content informing Albertan’s on the nature of the referendum questions. You can find her content on Instagram and TikTok.
