Mary Pinkoski (she/her) is the Ingenium Postdoctoral Associate at the Energy Stories Lab. She received her PhD from the University of Alberta in 2025. Her current research focuses on the Stories and Lives of Abasand project, a community-driven, collaborative digital exhibition bringing together contemporary and archival voices and belongings from the Abasand neighbourhood. Drawing on her over two decades of experience as a museum practitioner, Mary's broader research explores how museum practitioners understand and honour their relational obligations to communities and to the land. Her work integrates creative writing and other arts-based practices, informed by her experiences as an internationally recognized spoken word poet.
